Women's tennis won four matches on the final day of the Bears' tournament
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Dartmouth women's tennis team wrapped up the Brown Invitational on Sunday, facing players from the host team, UMass, Rutgers and Stony Brook throughout the final day.
Katie Weber defeated her opponent from UMass, 6-4, 6-7(2), 10-3, while Elizabeth Fahrmeier won her first set against a Minutewoman, 6-0, and was leading, 3-0, in the second when the other player retired.
Facing an athlete from Stony Brook, Ameliija Swaffer-Selff had a 6-3, 6-4 victory. Playing alongside Jingyi Peng, the Big Green pair had a 6-3 defeat of their Seawolf opponents.
Next Saturday, Sept. 25, Dartmouth will play at the Boston University Invitational.
