STON, Mass. – Dartmouth men's tennis played at the Boston University Invitational on Saturday, winning all but one of its nine matches.
The Big Green won all three of their doubles matches.
Alejandro Quiles and
Alex Knox-Jones had a 6-2 win, as did
Anders Gibbons and
Carlos Guerrero Alvarez, while
Hikaru Takeda and
Logan Chang had a very close match, ultimately winning by a score of 7-5.
In singles, Quiles defeated Dion Loutas, 7-6, 6-1, and Guerrero Alvarez had a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Johann Sajonz. Gibbons won his match 6-2, 6-4, while Takeda downed Adrian Pawlowski, 6-2, 6-2. Knox-Jones had a win of his own against Cole Knutsen, 7-5, 6-2.
Dartmouth will compete at the ITA All-America Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, starting on Oct. 2.
