THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth men's hockey team plays at Thompson Arena for the first time in 2022 as they host Clarkson and St. Lawrence in ECAC Hockey action on Friday and Saturday.
LOOKING BACK AT OUR FIRST AWAY TRIP OF 2022
- Dartmouth opened the 2022 portion of their schedule this past weekend when they traveled to second-ranked Quinnipiac to play their first game in just over two weeks and first ECAC Hockey game in over a month.
- Freshman Sean Chisholm scored his third goal of the season and second in as many games.
- Sophomore Clay Stevenson made a career-high 47 saves, including 19 in the first period.
- The Big Green held a slight advantage on faceoffs, winning 32 out of 63.
THE BIG GREEN STATS
- Gallant leads the team in scoring with six goals this season. Freshman Sean Chisholm is second with three goals, while senior Jeff Losurdo, sophomores Joey Musa and Josh Waters, and freshmen Braiden Dorfman, Matt Hubbarde, and Ian Pierce each have two.
- Chisholm has a team-leading six assists for the season. Losurdo and junior Tanner Palocsik sit right behind with five apiece.
- Chisholm has nine points this season, while Losurdo and Gallant are tied for second with seven points each.
- Stevenson has appeared between the pipes in nine games this season. He has made 270 saves for a save percentage of .922 with a goals-against average of 2.75. Senior Justin Ferguson has played in seven games, making 148 saves for a save percentage of .855.
SCOUTING CLARKSON
- Clarkson enters the weekend with an 11-7-4-0, 6-2-1-1 record.
- The Golden Knights defeated RPI, 5-0, in their previous outing.
- They received 42 votes in the latest DCU/USCHO poll.
- Alex Campbell and Zach Tsekos share the team-lead in goals with 10 each. Anthony Romano is in second with eight.
- Mathieu Gosselin leads the team in assists with 14. Ayrton Martino and Jack Jacome are right behind with 12 apiece.
- Campbell leads in points with 20, while Gosselin has 19.
- Ethan Haider has played in 21 games in goal for Clarkson, making 505 saves for a save percentage of .920 with a goals-against average of 2.13.
SCOUTING ST. LAWRENCE
- St. Lawrence enters the weekend with a 5-11-4, 3-5-2 record. They will play #20 Harvard on Friday evening.
- The Saints played RPI in their previous game, falling 4-0 to the Engineers.
- Kaden Pickering leads the team in scoring with five goals, while Justin Paul and Max Dorrington have three each.
- Aleksi Peltonen has seven assists for the Saints. David Jankowski has six while Pickering has five.
- Pickering has a team-leading 10 points while Peltonen has nine.
- Emil Zetterquist has appeared in 17 games for the Saints, making 412 saves for a save percentage of .892 with a goals-against average of 3.09.
SECOND TIME AGAINST THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS AND SAINTS THIS SEASON
- The Big Green took a trip to the North Country for their first away games of the season.
- Dartmouth defeated St. Lawrence, 3-2, on Friday, November 12. Junior Jack Cameron scored the first two goals of his career, including the game winner. Ferguson recorded the first win of his collegiate career.
- Clarkson took the win the following night by a score of 3-0.
