Softball Announces 2022 Schedule

HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth Softball schedule for the 2022 regular season has been announced by head coach Jen Williams.

The schedule consists of 47 games and stretches from February to May.
Â
The Big Green kick off their season at the Chanticleer Showdown, hosted by Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C., from Feb. 25-27. They open the tournament against North Carolina A&T and also face Monmouth, Maryland and Central Michigan.

Dartmouth then travels to Knoxville, Tenn., for the Tennessee Invitational, spanning from March 4-6. They open the tournament against South Alabama, Tennessee and Virginia.

The team then heads to Georgia for a six-day road trip. They open the trip with a double header against Georgia State, March 17. They then travel to Athens, Ga., for the UGA Classic. They'll take on Georgia and Mercer over a three-day stretch from March 18-20. They close out the trip with a game against Jacksonville State in Jacksonville, Ala., on March 21 and a doubleheader against Georgia Tech on March 22.

The Big Green then return home to start ivy league play on March 26, against Yale. Dartmouth faces Yale, Brown, Columbia and Cornell at home this season. They take on Princeton, Penn and Harvard on the road.

Dartmouth has four non-conference matchups down the stretch. They take on Holy Cross in a doubleheader at home on March 30, Hartford at home in a doubleheader on April 6, Merrimack in a home doubleheader on April 13 and Boston College on the road, May 4.

They close out the regular season against Cornell, May 8 at home and then the Ivy League Championship is scheduled for May 14-15.
