The Dartmouth women's track and field team will compete against Yale and Columbia on Saturday at the Coxe Cage in New Haven, Conn.
In the team's previous meet on January 8, senior
Lily Lockhart continued her record-breaking start to the season as she set a new program record for weight throw for the third time this season, throwing for 19.50m. Juniors
Emma Cunningham and
Anya Hirschfeld won the triple jump and mile, respectively.
Lockhart will look to continue that strong start as she will be competing in the weight throw and shot put. Freshmen
Joy Enaohwo and
Danielle Pringle, who currently sit in the top 10 in program history for the 60m dash, will be kicking off their 2022 seasons.
Sophomore
Lauren Godwin is second in program history and third in the Ivy League in the long jump. She will participate in the long jump alongside freshman
Perside Ebengo Yolou and sophomore
Bridget McNally. Freshman
Julia Reglewski is currently third in the Ivy League in shot put and will be taking part in the weight throw and shot put.
The women's distance runners will be hitting the track for the first time in 2022, led by
Corinne Robitaille and
Natalie Shapiro in the mile, and Hirschfeld in the 1k.
The team will be back in action next weekend as they compete at the Boston Terrier Classic on Friday and Saturday.
