NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed against Yale and Columbia on Saturday in New Haven at the Coxe Cage.
The Bulldogs took first with 81 points, while the Lions finished second with 47 points and the Big Green in third with 46.
HIGHLIGHTS
In the weight throw, seniors Drew Palermo and Myles Schreck finished second and third with Schreck throwing for a new PR.
Freshman Ben Pable threw for a new personal best in shot put.
Sophomore Ethan Hughes and freshman Karl Pajus took second and third in the pole vault with each nearing their personal bests.
Hughes finished in third place in the 60m hurdles with a new PR of 9.21.
Pajus anchored the men's 4x4, nearly closing in on Columbia with an unofficial time of 47.9.
The Big Green had 10 runners compete in the stacked 3000m, with nearly everybody finishing with a new PR. Dartmouth was led by junior Eric Gibson, who took first with a new PR of 8:11.03.
Sophomore Will Daley opened his indoor season with a win in the 1k race, finishing with a time of 2:26.06.
Sophomore Aidan Robinson and freshman DJ Matusz finished 1-2 in the 800m race with PR's of 1:53.4 and 1:54.91, respectively.
Junior Trey Cormier scored for Dartmouth in the mile while graduate student Samuel Morton took fourth in the second heat.
Junior Julian Martelly scored in the 400m dash with a time of 50.62.
