THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth men's hockey team travels to New York for contests against Cornell and Colgate on Friday and Saturday.

LOOKING BACK TO LAST NIGHT

Dartmouth played a mid-week game against Union that was previously scheduled for January 7.
The Dutchmen took the win, 3-2.
Jeff Losurdo scored his fourth goal of the season while Tanner Palocsik scored his second.
Sam Hesler and Braiden Dorfman assisted on Losurdo's goal while Nick Unruh and Steven Townley assisted on Palocsik's.

THE BIG GREEN STATS

Junior Mark Gallant leads the team in scoring with six goals. Losurdo, Sean Chisholm, and Matt Hubbarde each have four while Braiden Dorfman has three.
Chisholm and Palocsik are tied for the team lead in assists with seven apiece. Losurdo and Joey Musa each have five.
Chisholm has 11 points this season. Gallant has 10 while Losurdo and Palocsik are tied with nine.
The Big Green have utilized two goalkeepers this season, Justin Ferguson and Clay Stevenson. Ferguson has appeared in 10 games, making 229 saves for a save percentage of .864. Stevenson has played in nine games, making 270 saves for a save percentage of .922.

SCOUTING CORNELL

Cornell enters the weekend with a 13-4-1, 8-2-1 record.
The Big Red were ranked eighth in the latest DCU/USCHO poll. They currently sit third in the ECAC Hockey standings.
Cornell defeated #1 Quinnipiac, 2-1 in overtime, in their previous game.
Ben Berard leads the team in scoring with nine while Matt Stienburg and Max Andreev are tied for second with eight.
Sam Malinski's 13 assists lead the team. Stienburg and Andreev each have 11.
Stienburg and Andreev lead in points with 19 apiece. Stienburg has done it in just 14 games while Andreev has played in 16.
The Big Red have utilized three goaltenders this season. Ian Shane has started the last five games and has made 147 saves in his six games for Cornell.

SCOUTING COLGATE

Colgate enters this weekend with an 8-13-2, 3-6-2 record. They will play against Harvard on Friday evening.
The Raiders tied Princeton, 1-1, in their previous game.
Colton Young leads the team in scoring with 11 goals. Josh McKechney has eight while Pierson Brandon has six.
Matt Verboon's 13 assists are first on the team while Nick Anderson is right behind with 12 and Alex Young with 11.
Young has 20 points for the season. Verboon has 18 and McKechney has 16.
Carter Gylander has played in 16 games between the pipes this season for the Raiders, making 414 saves and has a goals against average of 2.76.

ALL-TIME AGAINST THE BIG RED

Dartmouth is 50-85-6 all-time against Cornell.
The Big Red defeated the Big Green, 5-4, in a thrilling contest earlier this season at Thompson Arena.
The last time these two teams played at Lynah Rink was during the 2019-20 season, with Cornell taking the win by a score of 3-2.

ALL-TIME AGAINST THE RAIDERS

Dartmouth holds a 53-51-8 all-time record over Colgate.
The Big Green defeated Colgate, 3-2, earlier this season. It was the team's first win of the season. Chisholm scored the winning goal midway through the third period.
The last time these teams met at the Class of 1965 Arena was on January 25, 2020. They played to a 3-3 tie.
