HANOVER, N.H. – Lauren Mackey has been named Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance, as announced on Friday.
"I am so excited we were able to hire Lauren," said Chelsea Goss, the Associate Athletics Director for NCAA Compliance. "She brings great experience and energy to Dartmouth. I was very impressed with her from the start and don't think I've ever heard such glowing references."
Mackey served as the Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator/Compliance for the New England College Athletic Department for two years (2019-21). She assisted with recruiting strategies and enrollment initiatives, team oversight, events management, student-athlete services, community engagement and fundraising.
Prior to that, Mackey worked part-time as the Assistant Director of Facilities at the Dublin School in Dublin, New Hampshire, from 2017-19. During that same time frame, she served as the graduate assistant softball coach at New England College, where she was working towards her MBA in strategic leadership.
"As a New Hampshire native, I am extremely grateful to be joining the Big Green family," Mackey said. "I want to thank Tiffani Sykes, Chelsea Goss, and the search committee for choosing me to be the next Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance. I look forward to working with the entire athletics community and I am excited to make a positive impact."
Mackey graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 2017 with a degree in global environmental studies, competing for the Cougars' field hockey and softball teams while there. She received her master's degree in May of 2019.
