Xander Centenari '13 announced today the Big Green's spring schedule, which will begin Saturday, Jan. 14 when Dartmouth welcomes Navy to Boss Tennis Center.
Ivy League competition kicks off Saturday, April 1 as Dartmouth hosts defending champion Harvard and culminates Sunday, April 23 with a trip to Princeton.
Prior to Ancient Eight action, the Big Green play a robust nonconference schedule, including dates with three Big Ten opponents. They play five straight at Boss Tennis Center before hitting the road for the first time, traveling to Indiana to take on Purdue Saturday, Feb. 4 and Indiana the following day.
Following the Indiana trip, Dartmouth returns to host the ECAC Indoor Championships beginning Friday, Feb. 17. The three-day event precedes home matches against Colgate and Boston University (both on Sunday, Feb. 26). The Big Green will then face their third Big Ten opponent in Penn State, which comes to Hanover Sunday, March 5. The nonconference slate concludes with a southern road trip, which will feature matchups against Belmont, Middle Tennessee, Elon and UNC Wilmington.
After the Ivy League opener against Harvard, the Big Green will travel to Brown on Friday, April 7 before enjoying three in a row on their home courts. Yale (Sunday, April 9), Columbia (Saturday, April 15) and Cornell (Sunday, April 16) each come to Hanover consecutively in the heart of conference play. A weekend on the road at Penn (Saturday, April 22) and Princeton (Sunday, April 23) round out the regular season.
The Big Green are currently in the midst of their fall slate with the three-day Dartmouth Invitational starting Friday, Oct. 21.
