SATURDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Riding a three-game winning streak, the Dartmouth women's soccer team travels to New York for an Ivy League matchup with Columbia on Saturday evening under the lights.
LOOKING BACK TO MONDAY NIGHT
The Big Green finished out their non-conference slate with a 7-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer at Burnham Field on Monday evening. Dartmouth had five different goal scorers,
Daisy Granholm,
Allie Winstanley,
Jaidyn Curry,
Audrey Marin and
Sydney Brown each found the back of the net. Granholm and Curry each scored twice.
Relly Ladner provided two assists while
Juliet Moncho,
Danielle Burke,
Taylor Williams and Granholm each chipped in one.
Charlotte Cyr and
Emily Hardy combined for the two-save clean sheet.
WEEKLY HONORS
On Monday,
Aleena Seales was named the Ivy League Player of the Week while
Grace Martin was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
THE STATS
Winstanley leads the team in scoring with 10 goals. Seales is second with five while
Aspen Anderson has three.
Mary Lundregan has a team-high seven assists. Brown and Winstanley each have three.
Leading from the back is Cyr, who has started every game in goal for the Big Green. She has made 88 saves with five clean sheets and has a save percentage of .830.
Among the Ivy League, Winstanley is first in goals (10), game-winning goals (5), shots on goal (31) and points per game (1.64). Lundregan is tied for first in assists with seven. Cyr is first in saves per game (6.29), save percentage (.830) and shutouts (5).
Among the national leaderboard, Winstanley is third in game-winning goals and eighth in shots on goal per game (2.21). Cyr is 10
th in total saves.
SCOUTING COLUMBIA
The Lions enter Saturday's game with a 6-3-3, 2-1-1 record. Columbia played Princeton to a scoreless draw in their previous outing.
Shira Cohen, Ania Prussak and Maia Tabion are tied for a team-high three goals each. Grace Hurren and Annie Diaz-Silveira are tied for second with two. Prussak also leads the team in assists with four. Sophia Cavaliere sits in second with three while there are four players with two assists.
Columbia has utilized three goalkeepers this season, with Paige Nurkin playing the Lion's share of the minutes and having started all but one game. Nurkin has made 20 saves with a save percentage of .667.
The Lions are coached by Tracey Bartholomew, the third head coach in their program's history. Now in her ninth year at the helm of Columbia, Bartholomew boasts a record of 62-42-22, 26-18-9 with the Lions.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE LIONS
The Big Green hold the advantage all-time over the Lions, 23-7-5. Columbia has the edge in recent years though, as they have been unbeaten in the series since the 2014 season.
The Lions claimed a 3-2 victory in the last matchup between the two sides at Burnham Field during the 2021 season.
Hannah Curtin and Winstanley scored the goals for the Big Green.
Dartmouth is 12-4-1 on the road in the all-time series.
