Men’s Tennis in Action at ITA Super Regionals and Dartmouth Invitational

Hikaru Takeda advanced to the Round of 16 at ITA Super Regionals
HANOVER, N.H. — Several members of the Dartmouth men's tennis team competed in the Dartmouth Invitational, while others were in action at the ITA Super Regionals hosted by Harvard.
Among those competing at ITA Super Regionals was Hikaru Takeda, who defeated Columbia's Henry Ruger in a three-set thriller to advance to the Round of 16, where he'll face Yale's Michael Sun. Carlos Guerrero Alvarez also appeared in singles action, but fell to Harvard's Marc Ktiri. Anders Gibbons and Dominik Pauli were the lone doubles duo and were downed by Penn's Edoardo Graziani and Kevin Zhu.
Back in Hanover, Dartmouth was the winner of five matches. Henry Ren and Waleed were pit against a Brown duo and were victorious in doubles action, as were Miles Groom and Alex Knox-Jones with a win over Williams. Qadir, Knox-Jones and Groom were also winners in singles.
