HANOVER, N.H. —
Hikaru Takeda prevailed once again in the ITA Super Regionals, defeating Yale's Michael Sun in three sets and punching his ticket to quarterfinals. Others from the Dartmouth men's tennis team excelled in the Dartmouth Invitational in Hanover.
The Big Green racked up four singles wins in five matches thanks to
Henry Ren,
Alejandro Quiles,
Miles Groom and
Logan Chang.
Waleed Qadir and Ren, along with Chang and Quiles accounted for Dartmouth's two doubles wins across three matches.
Takeda, one of eight remaining in the region, awaits Harvard's Harris Walker in the ensuing round of the ITA Super Regionals and the Big Green wrap up the Dartmouth Invitational Sunday.
