HANOVER, N.H. — Following a scoreless draw on Tuesday, the Big Green head to Philadelphia for their second Ivy League matchup of the season against Penn. Dartmouth men's soccer team looks to remain unbeaten on the road and pick up its first conference win of 2022.
The Big Green last took the field on Oct. 4 against Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. Wet conditions stymied both offenses throughout the match, which ended in a 0-0 tie. Sophomore goalkeeper
Dylan Buchanan recorded a four-save clean sheet in his first collegiate start.
Last weekend, Dartmouth battled the defending Ivy League champion, Princeton, at home. The Big Green were forced to play down a man for just under 60 minutes, and despite a strong defensive performance, fell by a score of 1-0.
Dartmouth travels to take on the Quakers for the second consecutive year. Last year, the Big Green fell in double overtime by a score of 2-1. Bobby Clark Head Coach of Men's Soccer
Bo Oshoniyi holds a record of 2-1-0 against the Quakers in his tenure at Dartmouth.
UNBEATEN & DEFENSIVELY SOUND ON THE ROAD
Dartmouth holds a record of 1-0-3 in road matchups this season. After winning their first match against Niagara as the visiting team, the Big Green played to draws against Canisius, UAlbany and Holy Cross.

GOALKEEPING & DEFENSE LEAD THE CHARGE
The Big Green defense has held strong throughout the 2022 season. Dartmouth has allowed 0.88 goals per game, the third best in the Ivy League.
Dartmouth's goalkeeping has also been stellar through seven matches. Big Green keepers hold a save percentage of .829, the highest of any team in the Ivy League.
Costi Christodoulou holds the best save percentage in the Ancient Eight (.818). He also averages 3.86 saves per game, the highest mark in the conference.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Dylan Buchanan made his first start for the Big Green on Tuesday night against Holy Cross. He made four saves to earn his first-career shutout.
SCOUTING PENN
Penn enters Saturday's matchup with a record of 6-1-1 and won its first Ivy League tilt last weekend against Yale.

Penn has outscored opponents 23-6 in its first eight contests and records 17.5 shots per game. The Quakers lead the Ivy League in goals per game (2.875), while also holding opponents to 0.75 goals per match, the best mark in the conference.
