NORWALK, Conn. – The Dartmouth equestrian team wrapped up the fall part of its schedule on Saturday, falling 8-2 at Sacred Heart. Earning team points for the Big Green were senior
Leah Branstetter over fences and
Margot Luria on the flat. Luria was also named the flat Most Outstanding Player with a score of 88.
"We have had a lot of growth throughout the fall season," said head coach
Tenley Walsh. "This is still a young team in its first year competing in the NCEA. I am proud of the progress our entire team has made. Branstetter has really stepped up for us this season. And today, Luria had a great ride, setting a personal high school and won a well-deserved MOP."
The team finishes the fall segment of its season 1-4, and will resume competitions Feb. 24 when it travels to Lynchburg, Va.
