The Dartmouth women's track and field team competed at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday.
The distance medley relay is scheduled for Saturday morning.
The team will be back in action on Saturday as they head to the Giegengack Invitational at Yale's Coxe Cage.
HIGHLIGHTS
Julia Fenerty had a massive performance in the 1000m, taking second with a time of 2:45.65. This places her second in program history, only .2 seconds behind the program record held by Olympian Abbey D'Agostino.
All the competitors in the mile walked away with PR's, including Corinne Robitaille, who won her heat with a time of 4:48.95. Anya Hirschfeld also won her respective heat, finishing with a time of 4:57.18.
Three first time competitors in the 3k had big performances, including a huge heat win from Natalie Shapiro running it in 9:44.10, and Abigail Brazil, who tied her PR of 9:50.5.
Isabella Chao capped off the night with a PR of 17:16.96 in the 5k. This puts her fifth on the Ivy League performance list.
Senior captain Arianna Gragg ran of PR of 2:11.74 in the 800m, placing her in the top 15 in indoor program history. Gragg already holds the programs ninth best 500m performance. Heading into championship season, Gragg sits fourth and seventh in the Ivy League in the 500m and 800m, respectively.
