The Dartmouth women's track and field team competed at day two of the Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships on Sunday at The Armory.
Dartmouth finished seventh with 43 points.
"I am really proud of how our women's team competed this weekend. There's no championship like the Heps meet and our women showed true heart in a high-pressure atmosphere," said Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field
Porscha Dobson. "The score and the results don't tell even half of the story here. It was a true team effort as points came from each event group! Several PR's, top all time performances, and many first-time scorers."
"We have such a young team who now has the experience needed to help take this team to the next level," Dobson continued. "I see the hard work from our coaching staff and support team every day, so it was nice for others to witness their efforts and where our team is headed. The entire arena could sense the energy that the Dartmouth women are coming, and that was a great feeling for our Big Green family."
