HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis defeated Boston College, 5-2, at the Boss Tennis Center on Friday evening. The Big Green are now 4-1, winning all of their matches by the same score.
The home team won the doubles point following wins on all three courts.
Elizabeth Fahrmeier and
Katie Weber had a 6-2 victory on court one, while
Nicole Conard and
Chloe Yoo clinched with a 6-2 win at the No. 3 position.
Chidimma Okpara and
Ashley Hess added a 6-4 victory at the No. 2 spot before heading to singles.
The Eagles picked up their first point at the top spot after a retirement to make it a 1-1 match. Wins by Yoo at the No. 6 position and Fahrmeier at No. 5 moved Dartmouth ahead by two, but BC kept within striking distance with another win, this time at the No. 2 spot. Victories by Hess and Weber wrapped up the match.
Dartmouth will close out its six-match home stretch on Sunday when it faces Charlotte at 11 a.m.
