HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis suffered a 6-1 loss to Charlotte at the Boss Tennis Center on Sunday.
The 49ers started the match with a win at the No. 1 spot before
Nicole Conard and
Chloe Yoo got a 6-1 victory at the No. 3 position. It was Charlotte that got the win at the No. 2 spot to take a 1-0 lead.
The visitors won on courts three, one and two to make it a 4-0 match before
Elizabeth Fahrmeier had a 6-1, 6-7(7), 10-6 defeat of her opponent at the No. 4 position. Play at the No. 5 and 6 positions was very close, but it was the other team that won both to end the match.
Having been home for six straight matches, Dartmouth will now be on the road until April, starting with the ECAC Indoor Championship at Cornell next weekend (Feb. 11-13).
