HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth equestrian team will host the ECAC North Regional Single Discipline Championship this weekend at Morton Farm.

The Big Green head into the championship as the two seed and will take on #1 Sacred Heart and #3 SUNY New Paltz. The three teams will compete in a round robin format, with fences taking place on Saturday and flat on Sunday.

Dartmouth will face Sacred Heart at 10:30 followed by SUNY New Paltz at 12:00 on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Big Green will send out four equestrians: senior
Claire Azar, sophomore
Rachel Freer, and freshmen
Grace Silverman and
Chloe Terestchenko.

Dartmouth has been off since their 4-4 (679-647) win over Sacred Heart back on February 13 in the program's first ever home NCEA meet.

Terestchenko had a strong performance that day, scoring the highest fence score of the day with an 86 and then earning the highest score of the day with a 91 in the flat. Freer picked up the opening point for the Big Green, grabbing an 84 while riding Bravado. Azar scored a critical point for the Big Green at the end of the meet as she scored an 89 while riding Bravado to tie the score at 4-4.
