HANOVER, N.H. — Clay Stevenson,
Sean Chisholm,
Ian Pierce and
Harrison Markell of the Dartmouth men's hockey team earned All-Ivy League recognition, announced by the league on Wednesday.
Stevenson was named to the first team while Chisholm and Pierce were named to honorable mention team. Additionally, senior
Harrison Markell was named to the Academic All-Ivy team.
Stevenson earned first team honors after finishing the regular season with 620 saves, a goals against average of 2.64, and a save percentage of .924 in 20 games. In Ivy League games, he led the conference in saves (255) and saves per game (28.33), while finishing second in save percentage (.934). Stevenson had two shutouts, coming against Yale on Feb. 12 and against Princeton on Feb. 19, both at Thompson Arena.
Chisholm led Dartmouth in points with 18, finishing with eight goals and 11 assists. In Ivy League games, he had three goals and five assists. In both games against Princeton, Chisholm scored one goal and dished out one assist. Chisholm also won 90 of his faceoffs in his 10 Ivy League games.
Pierce lands on the honorable mention team after appearing in nine of the 10 Ivy League games. He finished with two goals and three assists in those games, with both goals coming on the power play. For the season, he scored four goals, dished out six assists and blocked 19 shots.
Markell, a government major with a 3.71 GPA, earned a spot on the Academic All-Ivy League team. Markell wrapped up his Big Green career by appearing in all 29 regular season games, scoring one goal and providing eight assists, and leading the team in blocked shots with 47.
