HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men's tennis ended the 2021-22 season on a high note with a 6-1 defeat of Brown on Senior Day Sunday.
Pierce Widdecombe ended his final match in Hanover by winning both doubles and singles.
"I'm so happy for these guys today,"
Xander Centenari '13, the John Kenfield and
Chuck Kinyon Head Coach of Men's Tennis, said. "This has not been an easy season and we managed to finish this year at home, on a beautiful day, with a gritty 6-1 win. We had several 7-5 or 7-6 scores in the third set and two big points on the board from Pierce. The guys played hard for him and all that he's done for the program. Congratulations to this team for finding another gear and finishing the year with an exclamation point."
