AMHERST,
Mass. — The Dartmouth women's track and field team finished in second at the UMass Pre-Conference meet on Saturday.
The meet kicked off Friday with the hammer throw and discus.
Lily Lockhart won the hammer throw with a mark of 55.21m and then took third in discus.
Julia Reglewski won the discus with a personal best of 47.78m, the second-best mark in program history.
Maeve Conneely took second in the high jump with a jump of 1.61m.
Bridget McNally won the long jump with a PR of 5.77m, putting her eighth on the Ivy League performance list and fifth in program history.
The 4x100m relay team of
Danielle Pringle,
Joy Enaohwo,
Cori Hoffer, and McNally won with a time of 46.34. This time is fourth in program history and third in the Ancient Eight this season. Enaohwo, Pringle, and Hoffer later competed in the 100m dash, finishing first, second, and fourth. In program history, Enaohwo is now second (11.88), Pringle is fourth (11.95), and Hoffer is seventh (12.08). Hoffer and Pringle finished first and second, respectively, in the 200m dash, with Hoffer running a PR of 24.71, the seventh best time in the event in program history.
The Big Green took the top four spots in the 800m run led by
Julia Fenerty, who ran a personal best 2:08.89, fifth best in the Ivy League. Rounding out the top-4 was
Arianna Gragg,
Bella Pietrasiewicz, and
Madaket Nobili. In the 5000m,
Emma Kerimo ran the event for the first time alongside
Macenna Hansen and they finished in third and fifth.
Dartmouth will head to the Ivy League Championships next weekend, hosted by Yale.
