Krafian Sits Third in Heptathlon After First Day of the New England Championships

Anoush Krafian is currently third in the heptathlon with 3010 points after the first four events.
SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The Dartmouth women's track and field team competed at the first day of the New England Championships on Friday at Bryant at their Track & Turf Complex.
Anoush Krafian is third in the heptathlon with 3010 after the first four events. Krafian won the 200m dash with a time of 25.02, finished third in shot put, and fifth in both the 100m hurdles and high jump.
Emma Kerimo and Macenna Hansen both finished in the top-10 in the 5k. Kerimo took fifth with a personal best time of 17:16.42 while Hansen finished in ninth, also running a personal best with a time of 17:40.65.
Bridget McNally grabbed 11th in the long jump with a jump of 5.37m.
Dartmouth will compete in day two of the New England Championships tomorrow as well as taking part in the Princeton Elite Invitational.
