The Dartmouth women's track and field team wrapped up the second day of the New England Championships and competed at the Princeton Elite Invitational on Saturday.
NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Big Green finished in fourth with a total of 47 points.
Anoush Krafian took second in the heptathlon with 4858 points. Krafian finished in the top-4 in all three events on Saturday, competing in the 800m (3
rd), javelin throw (3
rd), and long jump (4
th).
Julia Reglewski won the shot put with a throw of 15.00m.
Lily Lockhart threw the shot put 14.25m to take third. Reglewski also took third in the discus with a throw of 46.38m.
Emma Cunningham finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 12.33m.
Steph Finley grabbed fourth place in the 1500m with a time of 4:40.12.
PRINCETON ELITE INVITATIONAL
Julia Fenerty claimed seventh in the 800m race with a personal best time of 2:05.79.
Bella Pietrasiewicz also ran a PR in the event with a time of 2:10.49.
Abigail Brazil took third in the 3000m steeplechase and shattered her lifetime best by almost 10 seconds as she finished the race in 10:34.75.
Anya Hirschfeld grabbed seventh in the 1500m race with a time of 4:24.21, a new personal best.
Natalie Shapiro finished fourth in the 5000m with a time of 16:49.91, defeating her previous PR by a whopping 27 seconds.
Madeleine Locher capped off a strong day for the Big Green with a second-place finish in the 10k with a new PR of 35:06.49.
