HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth field hockey team held their end-of-the-year banquet on Saturday evening, recognizing four student-athletes for their performances during the 2021 season.

The Dorothy H. Leavitt Award was presented to
Sara Falkson. The Dorothy H. Leavitt Award is presented annually to the player on the varsity squad who has made the greatest contribution to the field hockey program, both on and off the field.

Bronwyn Bird received the Offensive Player of the Year Award. Bird was named to the All-Ivy Second Team after starting all 17 games for the Big Green, finishing tied for the team-lead in goals (4) and second in points (9). She scored the late equalizer in the team's season-opening win over UC Davis.

The Defensive Player of the Year Award was awarded to
Cecelia Monnin. Monnin was a mainstay in the defense for the Big Green, starting all 17 games and made one defensive save. She also chipped in one goal and two assists for Dartmouth, including the assist for the second goal against Central Michigan in the home opener.

Emilia Callahan was given the Most Improved Award. Callahan appeared in all 17 games, starting seven of them. She finished the campaign with two goals, including the second goal in Dartmouth's 2-1 win over Bryant.

Falkson was honored with a second award as she received the Teammate of the Year Award. Falkson, one of three captains for the Big Green, concluded her Dartmouth career earning a spot on the Academic All-Ivy team.
