PRINCETON, N.J. --
Kylie McKinley has been named Ivy League Co-Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last weekend.
McKinley was a wall in goal for the Big Green this weekend, allowing just one goal across 135 minutes of play while facing 31 penalty corners. McKinley made 19 saves on 20 shots on goal for a .950 save percentage. She opened the weekend with 6 saves in a 1-1 double-overtime battle against Yale on Friday, holding the Bulldogs to a single goal despite 15 Yale corners before Yale edged Dartmouth in a shootout. McKinley followed that up with the second shutout of her career in Sunday's 1-0 win at UMass Lowell, turning away all 13 shots she faced, stopping a penalty stroke, and keeping the River Hawks off the board through 16 corners. McKinley currently leads the Ivy League in saves per game.
The Big Green will return home Friday and Sunday. Friday they will host Cornell, and Sunday will welcome Bryant for Senior Day.
