NEW HAVEN,
Conn. — The Dartmouth women's track and field team finished in sixth place at the Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships on Sunday at Yale.
Â
The Big Green finished the two days in New Haven with 52 points. Penn claimed the team title, narrowly beating out Harvard and Princeton.
Â
"There were many glimpses of a championship team in the making. I'm very pleased with the way our women competed this weekend," said Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country
Porscha Dobson. "Each event group was represented. We improved upon our indoor team finish, qualified for several finals, put some big points on the board and finished with some great lifetime bests and hardware to bring home to Hanover," included Dobson.
Â
"Improvement takes a collective effort, and I am proud our captains and seniors really led the way in helping to support our team," Dobson said.
