Hanover, N.H. – Lightweight rower
Cooper Tuckerman will join four Big Green heavyweight rowers who have been selected to the U23 National Team to compete at the World Championship as announced by USRowing this week. The Bozeman, Montana native will once again compete in the lightweight quadruple scull.

The regatta is the premier event for rowers under the age of 23 and offers a total of 22 events.
Six boats were selected from camps held earlier this month consisting of the men's quadruple sculls, women's quadruple sculls, men's four with coxswain, women's four with coxswain, men's eight and women's eight.

The men's sculling camp was held at the Conshohocken Rowing Center in Pennsylvania while the sweep camp was held at Harvard University.

Two of the Big Green five are repeat competitors. Jacob Hudgins rowed in the silver-medal eight last year, while Tuckerman rowed in the lightweight quadruple sculls. The 2021 championships were held in Racice, Czech Republic.

Isaac Spokes, Miles Hudgins and Julian Thomas round out the rowers who will be competing.

The 2022 World Rowing Under 23 Championships is set to take place July 25-30 in Varese, Italy.
