THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth women's soccer team heads out to Michigan for a matchup with Michigan State on Thursday before squaring off with Eastern Michigan for the first time in program history on Sunday afternoon.
Â
LOOKING BACK TO LAST WEEKEND
The Big Green could not have started their season better than they did this past weekend. Dartmouth opened their season with a 2-0 victory over Fordham on Burnham Field on Friday evening. They kept that momentum going on Sunday when they churned out another 2-0 win, this time over Sacred Heart. Sunday's result is now the sixth straight season in which the Big Green started the season 2-0.
Â
THE STATS
Dartmouth scored four goals over the weekend with four different goal scorers.
Aspen Anderson,
Aleena Seales,
Allie Winstanley and
Sydney Brown each scored with Anderson and Winstanley claiming the game-winners. Winstanley and
Mary Lundregan picked up assists as well.
Â
Charlotte Cyr was a brick wall in goal through the opening 180 minutes, making 13 saves including tying a career high of nine in the win over Sacred Heart. Cyr was the only Ivy League goalkeeper to play two games this weekend and have a clean sheet in both.
Â
SCOUTING MICHIGAN STATE
The Spartans enter Thursday's game with a 3-0-1 record. Last time out they defeated Binghamton, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon.
Â

Â
Lauren Kozal has started all four games in goal with Belle Okoroafo making appearances in two games. They have combined to make five saves so far this season. Defensively, the Spartans are among the best in the country as they have yet to concede a goal through four matches while only allowing five shots on target.
