HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's cross country team is set to host the annual Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational on Saturday morning at Pine Park. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.

The Big Green will compete against Brown, Maine, MIT and Vermont as they look to win their eighth straight home meet.

They had an impressive win during last year's edition of the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational, taking the win with 21 points while they placed five runners inside the top-8.

Corinne Robitaille and
Emma Kerimo finished 1-2-3.

Dartmouth is coming off an impressive win in their season opener at the Vermont Invite last weekend. They finished with 42 points to claim the top spot.

All five runners that placed for the Big Green will be returning to the course on Saturday, led by
Julia Fenerty, who finished in second in her first ever cross country race in a Dartmouth uniform.

The Big Green will also have a celebration for long time Track & Field Head Coach Barry Harwick '77 to honor his contributions to the program. There will be a Fun Run prior to the start of the meet as well as a reception and dinner in the evening.

Dartmouth will be off for 13 days before they head to Franklin Park in Boston for the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday, September 23.
