Thirteen Big Green teams are in action over the next week
HANOVER, N.H. – Read up on the 13 Big Green teams in action over the upcoming week.

Skiing – Friday, Jan. 27 – Saturday, Jan. 28
After a week of just Nordic skiing due to a lack of snow in the region, all four disciplines will be back in action for the Big Green ski team at the New Hampshire Carnival this weekend. The alpine teams were quite relieved to have the wintry weather this past week and will head to Mittersill in Franconia for the giant slalom on Friday and the slalom on Saturday. The cross country teams have a 5K skate scheduled for Friday and a 20k classic with a mass start on Saturday, both taking place in Jackson at Jackson XC.

Women's Track and Field – Friday, Jan. 27
Coming off its ninth-straight DYC triumph, the Dartmouth women's track and field team heads to The Track at New Balance on Friday for the River Hawk Invitational. The Big Green look to continue the strong performances this season, which have already seen many student-athletes break PRs and etch their names into the program record books. Men's Ice Hockey – Friday, Jan. 27 + Sat., Jan. 28
The Big Green start a seven-game homestand this weekend as they welcome Cornell and Colgate to Thompson Arena. Dartmouth is coming off a weekend sweep of Brown (4-3) and Yale (4-0) and will look to keep the momentum going. Women's Ice Hockey – Friday, Jan. 27 + Saturday, Jan. 28
The Dartmouth women's hockey team travels to New York for a pair of ECAC Hockey matchups against No. 5 Colgate and No. 10 Cornell. The Big Green look to knock off ranked foes for the first time this season and climb the conference standings as the final weeks of the regular season approach. Men's Track and Field – Saturday, Jan. 28
After winning the DYC last weekend, the men's track and field team ships up to Boston to The Track at New Balance for the River Hawk Invitational. The Big Green put on quite the display last weekend, including a new program for the pole vault from freshman David Adams. Women's Swimming and Diving – Saturday, Jan. 28
The Big Green are home for a second straight weekend to host Columbia after falling to UMass and Northeastern in the Tate Ramsden Invitational. Freshman Julianne Jones provided a spark for Dartmouth with a pool record in the 200 breast (2:16.60), plus wins in the 200 back, the 400 IM and the 200 IM. Saturday's dual meet marks Dartmouth's final action before the Ivy League Championships, which begin Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Princeton.Â

Dartmouth travels to first-place Columbia on Saturday looking for its first Ivy League win. A valiant effort against preseason favorite Princeton, including Mekkena Boyd's career-high 15 points, fell short at home last weekend. To view the full preview, please click here.Â

Men's Tennis – Sunday, Jan. 29
Dartmouth welcomes Fordham for the fifth match of the season. The Big Green, coming off last Saturday's dominant wins over Binghamton and Siena, are off to a 4-0 start for the third time in the last five seasons. Dartmouth earned the doubles point in both of last Saturday's matches and had little trouble sealing wins in singles.Â

Women's Tennis – Sunday, Jan. 29
The Big Green battle Merrimack for their second match of the season, looking to build on last Saturday's season-opening win over St. John's. A 5-2 victory avenged last season's 6-1 loss to the Red Storm, who went on to go undefeated in the Big East. Dartmouth earned the doubles point and closed out the win thanks to strong singles performances from Chidimma Okpara, Katie Weber, Ujvala Jupalli and Emily Zhou.
