Women’s Squash Secures Wins Over Colby and Stanford

The Big Green closed out their time in Maine with two convincing victories

WATERVILLE, Maine — The Dartmouth women's squash team finished its time in Maine with a pair of wins over Colby and Stanford. The Big Green recorded 15 wins over two matches to finish the weekend 3-0.

The Big Green opened the day with a clean sweep of the Colby Mules. Dartmouth secured its second-straight 9-0 decision following a win over Bowdoin yesterday.

Six athletes recorded 3-0 decisions over their foes from Colby, and Dartmouth did not concede more than one set throughout the match. Claire Aube and Emily Schuster captured 3-1 wins in the No. 1 and 2 slots, respectively, leading the charge for the Big Green.

Dartmouth swept positions four through nine to close out an impressive victory. Ellie Burke's match against Celine Odegard was stopped during the first set due to injury.

The Big Green closed out the weekend with a 6-3 victory against the Stanford Cardinal. Dartmouth swept positions four to nine to close out the weekend undefeated.

Callie Worth and Devon Glaser were particularly impressive in their wins. Worth allowed just two points in a 3-0 win, while Glaser won her match with scores of 11-0, 11-1 and 11-3.

The Big Green leave Maine with a 4-2 record, including a 4-0 mark in road or neutral site contests. Dartmouth is back in action on Friday, January 13 against Trinity on the road, with first serve set for 1 p.m.
