Freshmen continue to shine for the Big Green

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Closing the Brown Classic on Sunday, the Dartmouth women's tennis team faced Boston University in the morning before squaring off with Brown in the afternoon.

The Big Green won two of three in doubles over Boston University and four of six in singles with wins from Elizabeth Fahrmeier, Katie Weber, Peyton Capuano and Michela Moore. The freshman duo of Moore and Capuano accounted for one doubles win, and fellow freshman Caroline Lemcke, along with Ameliija Swaffer-Selff, contributed the other victory.

Dartmouth was swept in doubles against Brown, but managed two singles wins against the hosts thanks to Lemcke and Fahrmeier.

Lexi Dewire and Brooke Hess will represent the Big Green at ITA Super Regionals next weekend at Army West Point.
