FIRST ROAD TRIP
The Big Green make their first road trip of the season this upcoming weekend. Dartmouth plays Brown on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. puck drop on Saturday at Yale.
LOOKING BACK TO LAST WEEKEND
Dartmouth dropped its first contest of the year last Friday, falling to RPI in overtime 5-4. The Big Green jumped out to a 3-0 lead midway through the second period, but the Engineers made the comeback before ultimately stealing the win in overtime.
Jenna Donohue finished with two goals and one assist.
Shae Messner scored on the power play early in the second period for her first collegiate goal.
Dartmouth picked up a point the following afternoon after a 1-1 tie against Union.
Cally Dixon scored for the Big Green on a power play in the second period.
Eleanor Rogers made a career-high 35 saves.
THE STATS
Donohue currently has four goals and four assists for eight points. Her two points per game ranks eighth nationally.
Dixon is tied for second nationally in power play goals with three.
SCOUTING BROWN
Brown comes into Friday's game with a 1-3-0 overall record and 0-2-0 record in league play. The Bears are coming off their first ECAC Hockey weekend, falling to No. 6 Quinnipiac, 1-0, and No. 14 Princeton, 3-0.
India McDadi leads the team in goals with two while Ellie Gauvin, Jade Iginla and Elodie Roy each have one. Seven players currently have one assist, including Gauvin and Iginla.
Kaley Doyle has started three games, including the last two, in net for Brown. Doyle has made 97 saves and boasts a .942 save percentage.
The Big Green are 49-33-12 all-time against the Bears. The two teams split the series last year. Brown won the first meeting, 2-1, at Thompson in late October while Dartmouth claimed victory in the return matchup, 2-1, in Providence in its season finale.
SCOUTING YALE
Yale enters the weekend with a 1-1-0 overall and ECAC Hockey record. The Bulldogs defeated Princeton, 3-0, in their first game of the year before falling to Quinnipiac, 6-3, the following day.
Anna Bargman leads Yale in goals with two. Carina DiAntonio, Elle Hartje, Jordan Ray and Stephanie Stainton each have one. Seven players have one assist thus far, including Hartje and Ray.
Pia Dukaric has started both games between the pipes, making 42 saves along with a .913 save percentage.
The Big Green are 71-18-3 all-time against the Bulldogs. Recently history has favored Yale however, having won the last 10 meetings. Dartmouth is looking for its first win against Yale since a 4-1 victory on Feb. 18, 2017.
