CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Two victories from
Peyton Capuano highlighted the Dartmouth women's tennis team's busy Saturday at ITA Regionals, which are hosted by Harvard. Capuano defeated opponents from Brown and Boston College and will take on Syracuse's Polina Kozyreva on Sunday.
Michela Moore also accounted for a Big Green victory, defeating Siena's Laia Giralt, but was upended by Quinnipiac's Jenna Sloan in a superbreaker as her run came to an end.
Katie Weber dropped a close superbreaker to Syracuse's Shiori Ito and
Lexi Dewire fell to another Syracuse opponent, Anastasia Syoseva.
Brooke Hess was defeated by Yale's Michelle Brettkelly.
Doubles action resumes on Sunday, along with Capuano's singles match at 9 a.m.
