ROAD SLATE CONTINUES
The Big Green are on the road for another pair of ECAC Hockey contests. Dartmouth plays at No. 9 Quinnipiac on Friday at 6 p.m. before heading to New Jersey to take on Ivy League foe No. 15 Princeton at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
LAST WEEKEND
Dartmouth made its first road trip of the season this past weekend, heading to Brown and Yale. The Bears and Bulldogs claimed victories over the Big Green.
Shae Messner tallied a goal against Brown, her second of the season, while
Anne Averill had the assist on the goal for her first collegiate point.
THE STATS
Cally Dixon and
Jenna Donohue are both currently tied for ninth in ECAC Hockey in goals per game with .67. Donohue is also ninth in the league in points per game with 1.33.
Dixon has three power play goals this season, good for second in ECAC Hockey and fourth nationally.
The Big Green rank 16
th in Division I with a .190 power play percentage.
SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC
Quinnipiac enters the weekend with an 8-2-0 overall record and a 2-2-0 ECAC Hockey record. The Bobcats are ranked ninth in the latest USCHO poll and are coming off a 0-2 weekend after falling to Clarkson (3-1) and St. Lawrence (4-1).
Maya Labad and Sadie Peart each have nine points thus far as Labad has four goals and five assists while Peart has six goals and three assists. Nina Steigauf is tied for the team-lead in goals with six. Maddy Samoskevich has a team-high seven assists.
Logan Anders has played all 10 games between the pipes for the Bobcats. Anders has made 229 saves and boasts a .939 save percentage along with a 1.51 goals against average.
Quinnipiac is currently 5-0 at home this season with wins over Maine (2x, 3-0, 5-1), Providence (4-1), Brown (1-0) and Yale (6-3).
The Big Green are 12-18-4 all-time against the Bobcats. Quinnipiac swept the season series in 2022-23 after earning a 3-2 victory in Hamden in January followed by an 8-0 win in Hanover in February. Dartmouth is looking for its first win against Quinnipiac since a 3-2 overtime victory on Nov. 3, 2018.
SCOUTING PRINCETON
Princeton comes into the weekend with a 3-3 overall record and 1-3 record in league play. The Tigers are coming off two defeats in the North Country last weekend, falling to St. Lawrence (7-2) and Clarkson (1-0). They are currently No. 15 in the latest USCHO poll and will take on Harvard on Friday evening.
Sarah Fillier leads the Tigers in goals with five and Jane Kuehl and Emerson O'Leary each have three. Issy Wunder has a team-high five assists while Katherine Khramtsov is second with four.
Uma Corniea has started five games in net for Princeton. Corniea has made 96 saves and has a .941 save percentage.
The Big Green are 32-54-7 all-time against the Tigers. Princeton swept the season series last year, picking up 5-2 and 2-1 victories. Dartmouth is looking for its first win at Hobey Baker Rink since a 3-1 win on Oct. 26, 2012.

WHAT'S AHEAD
Dartmouth returns to Thompson Arena next weekend to host Colgate and Cornell for a pair of ECAC Hockey games. The Big Green play the Raiders on Friday at 6 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. tilt against Cornell on Saturday. Both games will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet while tickets for the contests can be purchased through the Dartmouth Athletics ticket office.
