HANOVER, N.H. — Mariella Schweitzer and
Olivia Jelsma finished first and second in the pentathlon on Friday night on the first day of competition of the Dartmouth December Invite at Leverone Field House.

Schweitzer finished with a score of 3231 points. She claimed wins in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.14 seconds and in the long jump with a mark of 5.61m. Schweitzer also finished second in the 800m race with a time of 2:30.86 while throwing for a PR of 7.71m in the shot put.

Jelsma completed the heptathlon with a score of 3196 points. She won the 800m with a time of 2:24.65 while taking second in both the 60m hurdles (9.81 seconds) and long jump (5.31m).
