HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's hockey dropped an ECAC Hockey contest to St. Lawrence at Thompson Arena Friday afternoon. The Big Green jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but seven unanswered goals from the Saints clinched the win for the visitors by a score of 7-3.

Cally Dixon scored her third goal of the season, while
Izee Powell,
Currie Putrah,
Lauren Messier and
Sydney Herrington registered assists.

Dartmouth opened the scoring 10:32 into the opening period, as a rebound bounced Dartmouth's way off a St. Lawrence defender. Bowlby fired a shot on goal, which careened off a Saint in front and into the back of the net to give the Big Green an early 1-0 lead.

Maggie Emerson was sharp in net, stopping every shot she faced in the first 20 minutes of play, while Lucy Morgan stopped 12 of 13.
Dartmouth extended its lead 6:13 into the second period. Messier forced a puck in front of Morgan's net, which Dixon shoveled toward the goal on her backhand. The shot beat St. Lawrence's netminder over her blocker as the Big Green took a 2-0 lead.
St. Lawrence bounced back quickly, as Julia Gosling scored a shorthanded unassisted goal just 1:49 after Dixon's goal to cut Dartmouth's lead in half. Shailynn Snow tied the contest 2:08 later.
The Saints took their first lead of the afternoon late in the period, as Gosling scored her second of the game. Taylor Lum scored just 38 seconds later as St. Lawrence took a 4-2 lead into the second intermission.
