HANOVER, N.H. — The group of
Annie Jackson,
Anya Hirschfeld,
Bella Pietrasiewicz, and
Julia Fenerty won the 4x800 relay as the Dartmouth women's track and field team competed at the 2023 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field Championships at Leverone Field House on Sunday.
The group finished the race with a time of 8:46.02 to claim the title. Jackson led things off for the Big Green followed by Hirschfeld, Pietrasiewicz, and Fenerty as the anchor.
Earlier in the day, Fenerty finished second in the mile with a time of 4:46.39.
Jada Jones finished in the top four in three different events on Saturday. The first was in the 400m race, where she took third with a time of 56.05. Jones then finished fourth in the 200m dash with a time of 24.73. In the final event of the day, Jones ran the anchor of the 4x400m relay, helping the Big Green to fourth.
Jackson claimed a podium finish in the 800m race, placing fourth with a time of 2:10.88.
Pietrasiewicz and Hirschfeld both earned spots on the podium in the 1000m race. Pietrasiewicz took fourth with a time of 2:49.06 while Hirschfeld claimed sixth, finishing with a time of 2:49.95.
Corinne Robitaille finished seventh in the 5000m run with a new personal best time of 16:39.39.
Maeve Conneely tied for fourth in the high jump as she tied her PR of 1.70m.
Emma Cunningham grabbed a sixth-place finish in the triple jump with a jump of 12.10m.
