The Dartmouth men's track and field team opened the weekend with the first day of the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton and the Northeast Challenge at UConn.

J'Voughnn Blake led the way for the Big Green in New Jersey on Friday evening with a fourth-place finish in the 800m run, finishing the race with a time of 1:48.64.
Mason Childers and
Isaac Weber both ran a PR in the race, finishing with times of 1:52.24 and 1:52.85.
Jason Wang nabbed sixth in the 3000m steeplechase after running a personal best time of 9:01.68, crushing his previous best by nearly 11 seconds. His time is third in the Ivy League this year.
UCONN NORTHEAST CHALLENGE
Nils Wildberg claimed second in the long jump after jumping a personal best distance of 7.51m, the second best mark in program history and currently second in the Ivy League this season.
Colton McMaster claimed 10
th in the discus throw after a mark of 47.84m.
Ethan Hughes competed in the first five events of the decathlon on Friday, highlighted by a third-place finish in the 100m dash with a time of 11.41 seconds and a PR of 56.28 seconds in the 400m race. The remaining five events of the decathlon will take place on Saturday.
