STORRS, Conn. —The Dartmouth women's track and field team closed out the weekend with the Northeast Challenge at UConn on Saturday.
Mariella Schweitzer ran a PR of 14.47 seconds in the 100m hurdles, moving into sixth all-time in program history for the event. Schweitzer also set a new personal best in the 400m hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:05.95.
Jada Jones finished sixth in the 400m dash with a time of 55.20 and 13
th in the 200m dash with a time of 24.60.
Daniela Ruelas Lomeli ran a personal best time of 25.54 seconds in the 200m dash.
Joy Enaohwo claimed 12
th in the 100m race with a time of 12.00 seconds.
Julia Reglewski nabbed third in the shot put with a throw of 14.62m.
Olivia O'Connor took 12
th in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.73m while
Tennison Brady-Steen set a new PR with a throw of 49.05m.
Emma Cunningham had a mark of 11.91m in the triple jump, taking eighth.
Tori Laberge jumped for a new personal best mark of 11.21m.
Gabriela Fasanelli competed in the final three events of the heptathlon on Saturday. Fasanelli finished ninth in the long jump (5.24m), 11
th in javelin (21.57m), and eighth in the 800m race (2:33.69).
The Big Green were scheduled to compete in the 800m race at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton. However, inclement weather cancelled the remaining portion of the meet prior to the event starting.
Dartmouth will compete in two meets next weekend. The Big Green are scheduled to take part in the Virginia Challenge on Friday and Saturday as well as the George Davis Invitational at UMass Lowell on Saturday.
