The Dartmouth women's track and field team opened the weekend with two events at the George Davis Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell, and one event at the Virginia Challenge on Friday.

The Big Green competed in the hammer throw and shot put at UMass Lowell while taking part in the 1500m Invite at Virginia.

The Dartmouth throwers put on quite performance, starting the day with three athletes placing in the top five of the hammer throw.
Olivia O'Connor led the way with a throw of 51.81m to take second.
Tennison Brady-Steen was right behind in third with a throw of 48.97m while
Corinne Ahern took fifth with a PR of 46.25m.
Autumn Clark threw for a new personal best distance of 34.57m.

Julia Reglewski claimed a win in the shot put with a throw of 14.54m. Clark finished fourth with a throw of 12.92m while
Madyson Buchalski also finished in the top 10, taking eighth with a throw of 12.05m.

VIRGINIA CHALLENGE

Julia Fenerty and
Anya Hirschfeld were the lone runners for the Big Green in Virginia, competing in the 1500m Invite. They both finished with personal bests in the race as Fenerty claimed ninth with a time of 4:19.68 and Hirschfeld was right behind in 10
th with a time of 4:20.64. Fenerty now moves into sixth all-time in program history in the event and fourth in the Ivy League this season. Hirschfeld moves up seventh in program history and remains sixth in the Ivy League.
