HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth lightweight rowing team begins the spring season on the road this weekend with the Diamond Challenge Cup against Princeton and Delaware on Saturday followed by the Subin Bowl against Columbia on Sunday. The Diamond Challenge Cup will be held at Lake Carnegie in Princeton, New Jersey, while the Subin Bowl will take place at Overpeck Park in Leonia, New Jersey.

"The lightweights have been hard at work since the start of September preparing for the spring racing season," said interim head coach
Trevor Michelson. "I am excited to see how they perform on opening day against top ranked Princeton and defending national champion Columbia."

Dartmouth hosts its lone home race next Saturday, April 15, against Harvard for the Biglin Bowl. The Big Green close out the month of April at Yale (April 22) for the Durand Cup and at Cornell (April 29) for the Baggaley Bowl.

The middle of May sees the Big Green make the trip to Worcester, Massachusetts for the Eastern Sprints.

Dartmouth ends its season with the IRA Championships at the beginning of June in New Jersey, hosted by Princeton.
