DURHAM, N.C. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed in the 800m invite, 200m dash, and the 1500m race on Friday on the second day of the Duke Invitational.
DJ Matusz led the way for the Big Green with a second-place finish in the 800m invite. Matusz finished the race with a season best time of 1:50.90, the third fastest in the Ivy League this season.
Myles Epstein and
Liam Murray competed in the 200m dash. Epstein finished seventh with a time of 22.27 seconds while Murray placed ninth with a time of 22.53 seconds.
Albert Velikonja took part in the 1500m race, crossing the finish line at 3:53.79.
Rahul Batlanki and
Nils Wildberg were slated to compete in the long jump, but the event was cancelled due to inclement weather.
