Big Green Come Second to Lions in Subin Bowl

Dartmouth finished with a time of 6:14.66 in the first varsity eight
LEONIA, N.J. – The No. 9 Dartmouth lightweight rowing team came second to No. 7 Columbia in the race for the Subin Bowl at Overpeck Park on Sunday morning.

The Lions claimed their ninth-straight in the V8 with a time of 6:09.94 and were followed by the Big Green in 6:14.66.

Dartmouth hosts Harvard next Saturday on the Connecticut River for the Biglin Bowl. The Big Green won the event last year, ending a 14-year drought, and will look to win the Biglin Bowl for the sixth time.
