NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Looking for its first Ivy League win, the Dartmouth women's tennis team suffered a 4-0 road loss to Yale on Saturday afternoon at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs earned the doubles point with wins on Courts 1 and 2, despite strong efforts by
Chidimma Okpara and
Ashley Hess, who eventually dropped a 7-5 decision at the No. 1 position. Yale maintained its momentum, closing out the 4-0 team victory with a trio of singles triumphs.
Brooke Hess won the first set against Sophia Zaslow at No. 6 singles and was on her way to a third when the match was called.
Emily Zhou was battling in a close second set after dropping the first on Court 3.
Dartmouth's three-match road stretch continues when the Big Green visit Columbia on Saturday, April 15 at.1 p.m.
