NEW YORK — The Dartmouth women's tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss to Columbia on Saturday afternoon at the Philip and Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center.
The Big Green dropped the doubles point and Clarine Lerby's win at No. 5 singles over
Ujvala Jupalli sealed the match in favor of the Lions.
Of the three unfinished singles matches, Dartmouth won each of its first sets with
Ashley Hess (No. 2),
Emily Zhou (No. 3) and
Brooke Hess (No. 6) all coming out strong.
Ashley Hess and Zhou were trailing in their second sets, while
Brooke Hess had dropped the second and was heading to a third.
Dartmouth concludes the weekend on the road once again, facing Cornell on Sunday, April 16 at 1 p.m.
