HANOVER, N.H. – Sophomore
Ryan Tripp of the Dartmouth men's lightweight rowing team will represent the United States at the World Rowing U23 Championships in July in Bulgaria. This is the fourth straight year in which a Big Green student-athlete will be competing at the World Rowing Championships.

Tripp will compete in the lightweight double after taking first in the trials with a time of 6:37.59, finishing ahead of second place CRC, who finished with a time of 6:40.40.

Trevor Michelson. "Ryan has been a force on our team since day one and I am excited to watch him compete at the Worlds in July."

Tripp recently helped the Big Green finish seventh at the Ira National Regatta earlier this month. Competing in the varsity eight boat, Tripp and Dartmouth defeated MIT in the petite final, finishing with a time of 5:51.699.

The World Rowing U23 Championships will be held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria from July 19-23.
