HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's tennis team was in action at home for the first time in 2023-24 for the opening day of the annual Dartmouth Invitational at Boss Tennis Center and Thompson Outdoor Courts on Friday afternoon.
The Big Green came away victorious in one of their two singles matches and took four of seven in singles. Freshman
Xander Barber was on the winning end in both doubles and singles.
Barber and
Carlos Guerrero Alvarez downed Brown's Noah Hernandez and Chun Lam, and Barber added a singles win against Williams' Kush Anand.
Henry Ren and
Miles Groom also defeated opponents from Williams, and freshman
Yujiro Onuma defeated Boston University's Dion Loutas.
The Dartmouth Invitational continues on Saturday with action beginning at 11 a.m.
