LOOKING FOR FIRST IVY LEAGUE WIN
Dartmouth was kept out of the conference win column by Harvard, who picked up a 3-1 win in Hanover last Friday evening. The road back to the Ivy League Tournament certainly starts with victories over Cornell and Columbia. The Big Green have won each of their last five over both squads, dating back to the 2019 season.

EXPECT MORE FROM GUTZ
Sophomore
Kauany Gutz had a career-high 16 kills in four sets against Harvard and led the offense again the following night at New Hampshire, going for 10 kills in addition to her career-high 15 digs. Gutz's career best in kills prior to Friday evening's tilt with Harvard? 15 in just three sets at an impressive .429 clip at Cornell on Oct. 15, 2022.

ASSIST MILESTONES
Fifth-year senior
Makenzie Arent is now fifth all-time in program history in career assists (1,801), having passed Kendall Houston '12 over the weekend. Fourth isn't far away - Stacey Benton '17 currently holds that spot with 1,841 career assists. Senior
Karen Murphy is closing in on 1,000 career assists, needing 49 more to become the ninth player in program history to hit quadruple digits.
Â
NEW YEAR, SAME GIBBS
Amelia Gibbs has been one of the Ivy League's most efficient hitters throughout her career, and 2023 - her senior season - is no different. She currently has a .348 hitting percentage, which ranks fourth in the Ancient Eight, and equals her 2021 percentage. She registered a career-best .356 in 2022, which was the second best in program history. If Gibbs maintains or increases her .348 clip this season, she'll graduate owning three of the four most efficient seasons in Big Green history.
Â
SCOUTING CORNELL
The Big Red have won two of their last three, including a 3-1 Ivy League win over Columbia and a 3-0 trouncing of Morgan State, who bested Dartmouth on the opening day of the season. Sophomore Eliza Konvicka leads the Ivy League and ranks among the top 50 nationally in points per set (4.57).
Â
SCOUTING COLUMBIA
The Lions enter the weekend having lost four straight. Their last win came, coincidentally, against Morgan State. Despite a balanced attack with four players averaging more than 2.50 points per set, Columbia ranks last in the Ivy League in kills per set. Logan Harlock, who made her first appearance of the season against Cornell last Saturday, looks to lead the offense after leading the team with 11.5 points in the Ivy opener.

NEXT UP
Dartmouth returns to Leede Arena, hosting Penn on Friday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. and Princeton the following day at 5 p.m.
